Regarding our high school from a sustainability point of view is the main goal of our project “La meva escola verda”, “My eco-school”.

This project made by the 4th grade ESO students,  expects to observe, recommend and if possible, accomplish some actions in order to improve the environmental quality of our secondary school.

 Three qualified experts helped and advised us on alternative energy, biodiversity and water cycle. We also visited four education centers from our region and a Parisian high school linked to our etwinning project to learn from their successful ideas.

 

Regarding the work plan, students decided to organize themselves on 6 technical commissions:

  1. Biodiversity

  2. School waste management

  3. Canteen waste management

  4. Energy efficiency

  5. Efficient water use

  6. Mobility and transport

Ideas given by each commission will constitute the “ Environmental proposals guide”. It will be used as a roadmap for future investments in the school.

 

 Students will present their projects and ideas to the educational community through some presentations in the school and an exhibition in the “Museu de Tela”, it will be opened to the public as from the 27th March. All welcome!
